Hi everyone. Back from racing at Silverstone at the weekend. Running next years Evo spec bike in the Supersport and ended up with a 22nd and 17th (3rd in cup) in both races. Had to start back of grid for race 1 because of a crash at the start of qualifying. Hopefully a couple of cup wins and closer to top10 at brands hatch. N Coates
Looking back at Assen I was happy that I have made a bit of progress with the new Evo bike. I was a bit rusty as I have not raced in a few months and working with a new bike and team was going to take time.
I finished 21st and 22nd and 6th and 5th in the cup in both races which is not ideal but the lap times improved as the weekend went on and was just a couple of sessions behind.
Silverstone is 4-6 October and it should bring better results and hopefully a couple of cup wins.
I will be riding for CF Motorsport in the Supersport Evo class on a Yamaha R6. Having missed the last 3 rounds after parting company with Mackrory race team family friends and I have been working hard to get back out competing and thankfully we were able to sort a deal.
The first outing with the team will be at Assen circuit in Holland as part of the British then it’s Silverstone and Brands Hatch to finish the season off.
I’m really looking forward to getting back out there on the R6 and working with the new team. Should be fun.
